Scam Email Alert – Please Read
By Kay Hisano | Dated August 25, 2025
We’ve recently been made aware of scam emails circulating that appear to be connected to veterinary clinics, including ours. These emails are fraudulent and are designed to trick recipients into clicking on malicious links or calling fake phone numbers.
Key details of the scam:
-
The sender may look legitimate at first glance, but the email address is often unusual or unrelated to our clinic.
-
The email may reference your pet, an invoice, or an urgent account problem to create a sense of urgency.
-
Links in the email may install malware or direct you to a fake website.
-
Phone numbers in the message may connect you to scammers posing as “support staff” who will try to obtain your personal or financial information.
If you receive one of these emails:
-
Do not click any links.
-
Do not call any numbers listed.
-
Do not reply or provide any information.
-
Report the scam and delete the email immediately.
Important:
-
Our clinic will never send you emails requesting banking details, passwords, or urgent payments via unfamiliar links.
-
Always contact us using the phone number or email address listed on our official website if you are unsure about a message.
- Please let us know if you have received any email that you may be unsure of.
