Puppy Classes

puppy classHaving a well-trained dog will considerably enhance the joys of pet ownership. The more time and effort you invest in training your puppy early on, the greater the rewards will be as you bond with your dog.

Dogs can live for 10-15 years (varying with the breed) and are a big commitment. We cannot stress how important it is to institute a good training program from the beginning.

We hold PUPPY CLASSES at Gordon Vet Hospital run by qualified dog trainers and instructors.

Maureen holds our puppy classes on Sundays at 10:00am for 1 hour sessions. We recommend puppies attend these sessions starting at between 8-16 weeks of age. These classes run once weekly for 4 weeks. This is an important period of socialization for your puppy and gives a chance for some basic enjoyable training in a fun environment with other pups.

All puppies attending our classes will receive a complimentary puppy pack including essential information on puppy care, behaviour and food samples.

Book through reception at Gordon Vet Hospital on ph 9498 3000.

Absolutely love the service here. I switched from other Vets to this Vet as the staff here are quite attentive and really care about your furry baby! I have basically seen most of the Dr's here and all of them so far have been fantastic, friendly and fun to speak with! Easy to locate and enough parking available! 5 Stars indeed!

We found a stray, agitated dog in front of our house last night. We phoned but got no help from the Council ranger who gave two options: tie him up in front yard overnight or "let him loose, he'll find his own way home" :( So we phoned Gordon Vet: they stayed open a few minutes so we could run him up and he could have a bed and dinner. Thank you Gordon Vet Hospital, hope he gets home soon!!! :)
