Hey everyone!! How are you all? Have you voted for me in the Clinic Cat of the Year comp yet? Be sure to vote for me. I had a look at some of my competition this morning, and I must admit, there are some pretty amazing cats on there. Obviously none as amazing as me. I can’t wait until they announce me as the winner. Not only will I be able to say I’m the best Pymble Vet clinic cat, or the best West Pymble Vet clinic cat, or the best Gordon Vet clinic cat or even the best North Shore Vet clinic cat, I’ll be able to say I’m Australia’s best clinic cat!! I wonder if I can get that printed on a business card…. Anyway, head over to the Dermcare website, www.dermcare.com.au and vote for me!!

Nurse Hollie and her husband Mark will be off on their honeymoon soon. They will be spending 4weeks in South America and visiting places such as Peru, Chile and Brazil. It sounds pretty exciting and I hope they remember to send me a postcard. I’m getting a great collection of postcards now.
The Ku-Ring-Gai Dogs Day out is being held again soon and yet again I’m not invited. I know I’m not a dog but I think I would enjoy Dogs Day out. if you aren’t doing anything on Sunday 31st May, be sure to head over to the St Ives Showground. Even though I won’t be there, you’ll still be able to say hello to some of the human members of the GVH team.
My stars this week are a gorgeous family of stray kittens. Mumma Cat, who we’ve named Daisy, had been happily hanging out with her five kittens in one of our lovely clients yard. And then Daisy disappeared for a few days and they got quite worried about the kittens so they did the very sensible thing and brought them in to us. They would of been about 4weeks old when they came in, and like human babies, they need a lot of looking after at this age. They needed assistance with feeding and toileting, and as much as our lovely clients wanted to have them at home, the best spot for them is here with us. And then Mumma Daisy returned!! But she had a nasty infection of one of her nipples which needed surgery. Dr Genevieve Zhang performed the surgery and Mumma Daisy is recovering well. Our lovely clients are thinking about adopting Mumma Daisy and one of her kittens or two, but we will need homes for the others. They should all be ok to go to great new fur-ever homes in a few more weeks, so if you are interested, please either pop in for a chat or give us a call.
