Layne’s Goodbye after 17 years
By John Morgan | Dated March 28, 2018
After 17 years as part of the GVH family a great opportunity in the industry to further my career has come up. I have made the tough decision to spread my wings and take on a new challenge. This has been a difficult decision for me, GVH has been such an important part of my life for so long, my heart and friendships still lay with GVH but I know it is time to push myself to try something new.
I never anticipated when I joined the GVH team on a whim in 2001 that I would love my job so much. I certainly never expected I would build such strong, meaningful relationships and friendships with the staff, the clients and of course the fluffies.
I have seen so many families say hello, goodbye and for some, hello again to their many additions. There are countless faces that made what I do a pleasure everyday. How lucky I am to have something makes saying goodbye so hard.
Thank you for all the wonderful memories, laughter, friendships and letting me be part of your lives. For 17 years I got up each morning loving what I do, I know how rare that is. I will miss everyone, thank you all for making it such a special place to work.
Sorry to hear you are leaving Layne. You have been a huge part of our positive experience at Gordon Vet through all the various furry sagas we have had over the years. I know we will be in good hands but you will still be missed. Best wishes for your next steps – The Viviers, Clementine, Marco and Polo
Layne – we will miss you so very much! You have been such an important part of the magnificent GVH family. We wish you all the very best for the future, and thank you so much for your wonderful care and compassion.
Good luck with your new adventure Layne. We really valued you help and support and friendly voice on the line when calling in about one of our furbabies.
You have been wonderful to us all these years and we all, Kay, Richard and naturally BRIDGET will miss you and your smile so much. Wherever you are going next are very lucky they are getting you. Thanks for all your help during the last 17 years.
Kay, Richard and Bridget Fay
