Hey Gang!! Hasn’t winter come all of a sudden?!? I don’t mind the cool weather. It gives me the perfect excuse to stay inside and nap!! My new fave sleep spot is the basket we have for client medication. It’s a tight squeeze, but you know what they say, if it fits it sits!!
It’s been a pretty good week here at GVH. We celebrated Nurse William’s birthday which meant there was cake. Nurse Layne has decided she needed some relief from the winter weather and is in Fiji for a holiday. I will miss her, but she will be sending me a postcard for my collection, so that makes it all ok.
My star this week is the cheeky Mr Oscar, a 5month old pussy cat from Pymble who thought that Lego blocks looked tasty. Oscar soon regretted his snack choice when it become stuck in his teeth! Dr David Loneragan was able to easily remove the Lego block and luckily for Oscar there was no damage to his gums. It wasn’t all good news for Oscar, he also got a vaccination while he was there! There’s nothing worse than getting a sneaky needle!! Oscar is otherwise happy and healthy and will be back to see us in a month or so for his desexing.
Well, better go. It’s almost time for arvo tea! Enjoy the rest of your week. Meows for now, love Joey xoxo
