Scott Lackenby

After graduating from Sydney University in 1992, Scott ventured into mixed animal practice in Dubbo. There he was involved in extensive sheep and cattle artificial breeding programmes.He then travelled to the UK worked as a locum vet in London and travelled around Europe, Africa, the USA and South America.

Upon his return to Australia, Scott joined the team at Gordon Vets in 1999, where he was immediately impressed with the high standard of customer service. He became a partner in 2002 and that same year he gained an extra qualification when he became a member of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Small Animal Medicine.
Scott is very popular amongst clients for his kind hearted approach to pet care and his great sense of humour. His particular areas of interest are endocrinology and dermatology.

Scott is married to Gordon Vet’s Sam and they have 4 beautiful girls – Phoebe, Charlie, Zara and Alex, as well as a Labrador Judo and a cat called Hattie. He loves keeping fit, swimming and other water sports.
