Katrina Watson

Katrina was born and raised as a country girl in Goulburn, NSW. She moved to Sydney to pursue a career in Veterinary Nursing at Gordon Vet Hospital. Her love of animals began as a child, when at one time she recalls having 13 cats! In Sydney she now has budgies and goldfish while her parents look after her much loved Maltese terrier Lolly in Goulburn.

Katrina’s main role at Gordon Vets is on reception and so she is very well known amongst all our clients. She is amazing at remembering the names of so many animals and their owners! Having managed a pet shop in Wollongong, Katrina displays exceptional customer service skills as well as a great knowledge of pet health. Alongside Layne and Emma our reception staff ensures that your visit to Gordon Vets is a pleasant one. She is kept busy daily keeping the clinic cat Joey in line!

In addition, Katrina is responsible for Gordon Vet’s social media. She does a fabulous job daily with the Gordon Vet Facebook page and then with Joey’s weekly post. Katrina is a great mentor for junior staff and is also a willing and able nurse when called upon.
