Hey gang! How are you all? I’m super excited that GVH will be doing Cupcake day for the RSPCA again this year. It’s one of my fave days of the year at GVH. Having a heap of delicious cakes lying around, often unattended, is great for a food motivated man. Although the Nurses are getting smart and keep the cupcakes locked away in plastic containers now. But I’ve had 12months to perfect my cupcake thieving skills.
Nurse Nicole flies out on Sunday for a month long European adventure. She will be visiting Paris, Croatia, Italy, Brussels and Amsterdam. I have already put in a request for a postcard for my collection.
My star this week is the handsome Zeke, a 7year old Moggy Cat who came in and saw Dr John Morgan because he was limping. Zeke had also been acting a bit strange according to his human and was having trouble getting in and out of his litter tray. When Dr John examined him, he found that Zeke had a luxating patella. This means that his knee was popping in and out. When Zeke’s knee was in the right place, he was able to walk properly, but when it popped out, he wasn’t. An Xray confirmed that Zeke would need surgery to correct it. Zeke recovered well from the surgery and was sent home with strict instructions to rest and take it easy.
Well, better go. Don’t forget to start saving your pocket money for Cupcake Day for the RSPCA, I know I will be. Meows for now, love Joey xoxo
