Arthur the 12 week old Labrador puppy is a bundle of cuteness. Adorable, cuddly, smoochy, still with that puppy smell. That was, until Arthur went out visiting friends and found a treat that he just couldn’t resist. It looked so good, it smelled so good, and before he knew it he had swallowed it.
His lovely owner phoned us in a panic and he was brought straight in to Gordon Vet. We discussed the options and decided that making him vomit was best, so young Arthur had a cuddle while he was given a little injection. He was a very brave boy and we all couldn’t get enough of him. That was, until the vomiting started.
Now when the vomiting started, it was just a little bit harder to cuddle the adorable, cute, smoochy little Arthur. The sweet puppy smell was gone, and in its place was rotting rat smell. Yes, Arthur had vomited up whole, rotting rat, in one piece with maggots still crawling in it.
We think Arthur got over it all well before those of us watching did.
