Hey gang! How are you all. Are we all ready to farewell Winter and give a big welcome to Spring? I know I am! The only down side to the impending warmer weather is the dreaded ticks. We have actually already started seeing them, so if you haven’t already started tick prevention for your 4legged friend, it’s certainly time! There are a few new products on the market now, so be sure to come and have a chat to the lovely Nurses at Reception to work out the best product for you.
The Gordon Community Preschool Fun Day was a roaring success. Or so I have been told. As you know, I wasn’t invited. Again. Dr John has promised me pictures, I’m sure it’s just to rub it in what a marvellous day they had without me. But he has yet to produce them. I will do a separate post about it once I have pictures.
My diet is going terribly. I am officially starving. I’m not sure how I’m meant to survive on these measly rations. I’m so hungry I may of allegedly stolen a strawberry off Nurse Emma. Not really sure what the big deal is. If I did indeed steal it. Surely there is no fat in a strawberry. Not that I did steal it…..
My star this week is the handsome Socks, a 3 1/2 year old Lagotta Romagnolo from St Ives. Socks was feeling adventurous and ate a pair of rock climbing socks. Apparently he didn’t read the instructions that told him they were meant for his feet! Socks was given an injection to make him vomit, and while we had him with us, Dr John Morgan also plucked some excess hair from Socks’ ears that were contributing to his ongoing ear infections. Luckily for Socks, the socks came up and Dr John is formulating an action plan for ongoing treatment for Socks’ ears in conjunction with Dermatologist.
Well, better go. I know it’s only a small one, but I’m so tired from hunger that I can’t type any more. Meows for now, love Joey xoxo
