Joey’s Pet of the Week – Kora’s Klose Kall
By Scott Lackenby | Dated October 30, 2014
Hey again! How great is it that I get to chat to you twice a week?!? Hopefully you’re all having a good week. It’s been an interesting week at GVH. We’ve had some unusual critters come in, a prickly one and two little bubs who need your help. We had an echidna dropped in! We see a lot of wildlife at GVH, but we don’t often see echidnas. I was cautiously inquisitive about him but I wasn’t getting too close to the pointy bits!!
We also have two little ducklings who need a home. They were found in a cardboard box in a local car park. Can you imagine how scared they must of been until the amazing person brought them in? Now, I’m very interested in them. They make strange noises and like me, they love water. But I’m not allowed to keep them. Apparently I can’t be the first Pymble Vet clinic cat with his very own ducklings. So, if you or someone you know has room for two ducklings, please send them my way. I’ll put some pics of them in my Facebook album so you can see just how cute they are.
My star this week is cheeky Kora, a 2month old Blue Heeler. Cheeky Kora was exploring in her yard when she fell several metres down a cliff. Kora was in such a pickle that she had to be rescued by the fire brigade! Aren’t we lucky to have such amazing emergency service people?!? Dr Helen Burns checked Kora over and surprisingly, apart from some bruising, she had escaped without any major injuries! She came in the next day for a recheck and was healthy enough to have her vaccinations!
Well, I’d better go and check on my ducklings. Don’t forget that they need an amazing home. Meows for now, love Joey xoxo
